Ever more frequently we are seeing and hearing sexually explicit material on TV, radio, commercials, billboards, vehicles, etc.  We hear of more people daily arrested for despicable sex crimes. Yes, it is increasing.  WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?

Pornographers are Paying for Political Campaigns

      Porn and drug money is increasingly going to pay for politicians who will vote their way.  In San Diego nearly the entire city council was forced to resign or were fired for accepting money and “favors” from sexually oriented businesses.
 

Judges Are Not Always Siding With the Innocent

      When the Supreme Court upheld the right to “freedom of speech” as it pertains to “art” the country’s porn and sexualization increased.  The Supreme Court has blocked Congress’ attempts at stopping porn’s progress. (The Warren Court handed down 34 decisions between 1966 and 1970 in favor of smut peddlers. The sentences were issued by justices anonymously. GOOD NEWS!  During the Bush Administration Child Porn has been a priority for the FBI. 

      The crackdown on child porn is a lesser-publicized effort than the pursuit of people who solicit sex from minors and are arrested.  Though lawyers argue that years of prison should not apply to someone viewing child porn at home, the FBI notes the more sadistic nature of the porn that is being viewed.  Internet child porn is increasingly sadistic and depicts young children whose victimization fuels a growing market. The FBI targets those defendants who obsessively collect huge numbers of images--and many of these have molested children. “We are seeing children who are prepubescent who are being raped, babies, toddlers being tied up.” Cybercrime is now the FBI’s third-highest priority, behind counterterrorism and counterintelligence.

New Bill HR5821 - Military Honor and Decency Act

      This bill seeks to make ALL porn illegal in all military base stores where the taxpayers pay for shipping items sold in government stores across the world. Porn currently is illegal but the military has redefined some porn magazines and is again selling them! The magazines are Penthouse, Playboy and Playgirl.
